Each GBM covers one idea trading desks use every day, then puts it to work in a live game.
Lectures. One trading concept per meeting, from market making to options theory and probability.
Market games. Live market-making games where members quote, trade and manage risk against each other.
Estimation markets. Every GBM closes with Trade or Tighten: the club makes markets on a number and trades them.
Questions
When are GBMs?
Mondays, 8–9 PM, unless the GroupMe says otherwise.
Who can come?
Any Penn State student. No experience required.
What happens at a GBM?
A short lecture on one trading concept, then live market-making games, closing with an estimation market.
How do I join?
Join the GroupMe. It asks your year and major when you join.
How do I get involved beyond GBMs?
Ask anyone on the exec board at a GBM. Dev team applications will be posted in the GroupMe and on Instagram first.
